Digital Image Requirements

• Photos may be submitted in digital format. Images should be formatted to 72 dpi, no larger than 600×450 pixels and no smaller than 300×225 pixels. Images should be submitted in JPG (at high quality) or TIFF format. File sizes must be less than 500kb per image. Images must be in natural color.
• Do not submit images taken by someone else. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any digital image submitted. By submitting you are giving Surfspots-GPS your permission to upload and use the image. Digital images will not be returned. Each image will be displayed and captioned with details provided as well as credit for the photographer.

Modifications Not Permitted

• Do not add borders, frames, watermarks, signatures, or copyright notices.
• Do not add or replace elements in an image.
• Do not use artistic filters.
• You may crop or rotate as necessary, as long as the rectangular format is maintained and the format is within the specifications above.
